Vision from the air showed the driver’s side of the ute had sustained a heavy impact.

Paramedics took a mother, aged in her 30s, and her baby to Peel Health Campus as a precaution.

Just minutes later, the Kwinana Freeway was reduced to one lane near Anketell Rd in Mandogalup after a ute flipped onto its roof.

Emergency crews helped free a man and woman, aged in their 70s, from the ute.

The pair was treated at the scene by St John WA paramedics.

Double demerits apply over the long weekend, ending at 12.01am on Monday.
