Five injured in serious crash on Arnhem Highway in Northern Territory

Five people have been injured in a serious highway crash in the Northern Territory.

Two vehicles crashed on the Arnhem Hwy — approximately 60km from Darwin — about 12pm on Friday.

Four people were travelling in one of the vehicles, while the other person involved was the driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle.

All five people were taken to hospital.

Three people are in a critical condition.

The highway was closed about 1pm and remained closed overnight while police NT Police investigated.
