Iconic American chain Chuck E. Cheese set to expand into Australia
American restaurant chain Chuck E. Cheese has announced an expansion into Australia through a partnership with a local hospitality group.
The entertainment and pizza chain has signed a partnership agreement with Royale Hospitality Group — the WA-based hospitality group behind Milky Lane, Planet Royale and Outback Jacks.
Chuck E. Cheese was founded in Texas in 1977 and is famous for arcade-style games, kid-friendly food, interactive play equipment and its giant mouse mascot.

“Chuck E. Cheese is a powerful global brand that transcends language and cultural boundaries, centred around the timeless essence of family fun,” COO of Chuck E. Cheese International Mario Centola said.
“We are thrilled to bring the magic of Chuck E. Cheese to Australia and to collaborate with the Royale Hospitality Group, a partner that shares our commitment to delivering exceptional family experiences.
“We look forward to crafting the Chuck E. Cheese brand for the Australian market.”

Chuck E. Cheese has set its sights on expanding into Asia and Europe, as well as remodelling its current locations.
The restaurant chain helps celebrate half a million birthdays every year and has almost 600 locations in 16 countries.
Beyond its arcade and food offerings, the brand also has a diverse cast of characters, with namesake Chuck E. Cheese the star of the show.
Restaurant locations, and when the restaurant will expand in to Australia, are yet to be confirmed.
