Man airlifted off Seven Seas Explorer cruise ship off Newcastle coast after severe medical condition
A man on board a cruise ship has been flown to hospital after suffering from a severe medical condition.
NSW Ambulance confirmed emergency services were contacted about 1.30am on Saturday by staff on the Seven Seas Explorer cruise ship, located off the Newcastle coast.
A Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to collect the man from the ship.
Paramedics said the man, aged in his 30s, had suffered a severe medical condition.

He was taken to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle for treatment.
