Police officers injured in two-car crash on Princes Highway in Narre Warren


Two police officers have been injured when their vehicle collided with a car at an intersection on a Melbourne highway.

The marked police car had its lights and sirens activated when it drove into the intersection on the Princes Hwy in Narre Warren just before 9pm on Tuesday.

The police vehicle crashed into the side of another car in the middle of the intersection.

Both officers in the car were taken to hospital, one with non-life-threatening injuries and another with minor injuries.

The 48-year-old woman driving the other car was not injured.

The cause of the collision is yet to be determined.
