Social media users have been left stunned by an easy-to-miss detail on a playing card.
Sharing on Reddit, an eagle-eyed card player pointed out the “mind-blowing” element on the eight of diamonds card.
“Can’t believe I never noticed this,” the Reddit user wrote, alongside an image of the card.

The post attracted thousands of reactions, with many gobsmacked by the “optical illusion”.
“Can’t unsee it now,” said one.
“That’s exactly what happened to me,” the Reddit user who shared the post wrote. “It’s all I see.”
Another responded: “I audibly said ‘OHH!’”
One more added: “I mentally slapped my thigh and loudly thought ‘woah’ once I saw it.”
So what is everyone talking about? The fact that the diamonds form the shape of an eight in the middle.
Many said it took them a while to spot the curious detail.
“I was happy and content until you pointed it out. Now my kids think I’m crazy for making them look!” said one.
