Secretly filming the heated encounter on his camera phone, the woman can be seen furiously throwing her credit card down, after he asked her to pay for her half of the bill.

In the video, he asked his date, “What did you say?”

The woman responded in an irritated tone, “Why are we splitting the bill?”

The man then replied, “Well I mean it’s our first date so I thought we should maybe go half”.

The video then shows the man awkwardly driving his date home.

She then says, “I can’t believe you made us split the bill”.

The man defensively says, “I mean you ordered an appetiser that I didn’t even touch, why do you think that I should?”

The woman cuts him off mid-sentence and exclaimed, “Okay but you asked me out”.

The man who had clearly had enough, responded with, “Alright I’ll just take you home”.

The video then cuts to him dropping her off and he says, “Alright, see ya, hello, see ya”.

The woman storms off before she abruptly responds with, “Bye”.

Clearly unimpressed, the disgruntled man shared his experience online.

“I don’t even know her, and she wanted to split the bill?” he said.

“After she ordered an appetiser that I didn’t want! This is what it’s like dating in Miami — so much hate. I got to move somewhere else, these girls are entitled.”

‘Shame on you’

His video has gone viral with more than six million views — with many divided over the situation.

Interestingly, many disagreed with the man’s decision to split the bill — with dozens defending his date.

“I’m with her. You asked for the date… you pay,” one said.

Another agreed, saying: “Date? Nah, you’re a friend if we split the bill. lol.”

A third person defended the woman, saying: “If you can’t afford to date then don’t. You split the bill with friends or people you have no intention of courting.”

Many felt the man was trying to shame the woman online — but it spectacularly backfired.

“If you ask a woman out, you pay the bill. Shame on you for trying to make her look bad on social media,” added another.
